Navorex Bags manages backpack sampling and bulk production from our production base in Pinghu Economic Development Zone, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China. Around 7,200 m² of production space and approximately 120–140 employees support material preparation, cutting, sewing, assembly, inspection and packing.
Four main production lines handle bulk backpack orders, supported by a dedicated sample line for prototype development. Typical monthly capacity is around 50,000–70,000 pcs, although actual output depends on backpack size, materials, construction, accessories and order mix.
Our manufacturing process is based on the approved product specification and production sample rather than a general standard applied to every backpack.
Approved Sample and Production Preparation
Bulk production starts after the backpack construction, materials, dimensions, compartments, branding and relevant packing details have been confirmed.
For OEM projects, development may begin from an existing backpack, physical reference sample, drawing or tech pack. Once the sample is approved, it becomes the main production reference for material preparation and workmanship.
Fabric, lining, foam, webbing, zippers, buckles and other confirmed components are prepared according to the order specification. Incoming materials are checked before they enter cutting and sewing production. More detail is available in our Material Inspection & Preparation process.
Standard backpack constructions normally start around 300–500 pcs, while more customized materials or components may require higher quantities.
Fabric Cutting and Panel Preparation
Cutting accuracy affects backpack dimensions, panel alignment and the way pockets, zippers and straps fit together later in production.
After material confirmation, fabrics are prepared for cutting according to the approved construction. Main body panels, pockets, shoulder-strap parts, lining sections and other required pieces are separated according to the backpack design.
Our equipment includes automatic cutting machines for backpack production. Panel dimensions and cutting accuracy are reviewed before the parts move to sewing.
The Fabric Cutting & Panel Preparation page explains this stage in more detail.
Sewing, Reinforcement and Backpack Assembly
Sewing is the main manufacturing stage for most backpack constructions.
Cut panels move through stitching and assembly according to the approved sample. Depending on the design, production may include the main body, front and side pockets, lining, laptop compartments, shoulder straps, back panels and zipper sections.
Production equipment includes lockstitch, double-needle, bar-tack, programmable pattern sewing, binding and riveting machines.
Reinforcement is applied at relevant stress points such as shoulder-strap attachments, handles, webbing connections and other load-bearing areas according to the selected construction.
Zippers, buckles, webbing and hardware also need to be assembled in the correct positions so the finished backpack matches the approved structure.
Our Backpack Sewing & Assembly page focuses on these production details.
In-Process and Final Quality Inspection
Quality inspection is carried out against the confirmed backpack specification and approved production reference.
During production, checks focus on areas such as stitching, seams, reinforcement, dimensions and component assembly. Before packing, finished backpacks are reviewed for overall structure, shoulder straps, zipper function, buckles and hardware, logo position, labels and visible appearance.
Non-conforming items are separated for correction before packing.
Third-party testing or inspection can also be coordinated when required by the buyer, product or destination market. We do not treat third-party inspection as a substitute for production checks; it is an additional option when a project requires it.
Finishing, Packing and Export Preparation
After final inspection, backpacks move into finishing and packing.
Loose threads and visible production details are checked, the product shape is prepared for packing, and confirmed labels, hangtags or barcode information are applied according to the order specification.
Packing may include individual polybags, product identification, private-label packing and export cartons. Carton quantities and shipping marks are checked before release.
More detail is available in our Finishing & Packing process.
EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP shipments can be coordinated according to the destination and agreed order arrangement. Shanghai and Ningbo-Zhoushan are practical export ports for our Jiaxing production location.
Production Timing for Backpack Orders
Standard samples usually require around 5–10 working days. New structures, special materials or more complex developments may require around 10–15 days.
After the production sample and specification are approved, normal bulk manufacturing is around 25–40 days, depending on order quantity, material readiness and construction complexity.
For a more accurate production review, buyers should provide the backpack type, dimensions, materials, quantity by style and color, branding requirements, packaging details, destination market and target delivery date. A reference product, drawing or tech pack is especially useful for OEM projects where construction details need to be confirmed before sampling.
