After sewing and hardware assembly are completed, backpacks move into finishing and packing. This stage is used to check the final appearance, remove visible production issues, confirm labels and packing requirements, and prepare the goods for bulk shipment.
At Navorex Bags, finishing and packing follow the approved sample, confirmed order specification and packing instructions. Different backpack constructions may require different handling, but the objective is the same: the packed goods should match the approved product, quantity and export requirements before shipment release.
Final Appearance and Finishing Check
Before packing, completed backpacks are reviewed for visible workmanship and overall presentation.
Checks may include backpack shape, stitching appearance, panel alignment, loose threads, straps, zipper areas, hardware position, logo placement and labels against the approved production reference.
Finishing is not intended to correct major construction problems after production. Sewing, reinforcement and component issues should already have been identified during the earlier Backpack Sewing & Assembly stage.
Items that do not meet the confirmed requirement are separated for correction before they enter packing.
Labels, Hangtags and Product Identification
Private-label orders may include brand labels, hangtags, barcode information or other product identification confirmed during development.
These details need to match the correct backpack style, color and order reference before packing. Incorrect labels can create problems for distributors and retail buyers even when the backpack itself is produced correctly.
Projects requiring branded packing should confirm these details through our Private Label & Packaging specification before bulk production begins.
Individual Backpack Packing
Individual polybags can be used according to the approved packing requirement.
The packing method depends on the backpack construction. A lightweight drawstring backpack can be prepared differently from a padded laptop, travel or trolley backpack that needs more attention to shape and hardware positioning.
Where applicable, the finished backpack is arranged for packing after the product, branding and identification details have been checked.
Packing specifications should be approved before shipment preparation rather than changed after the full order has already been packed.
Export Carton Packing and Marking
Packed backpacks are loaded into export cartons according to the confirmed carton quantity.
Carton information and shipping marks are checked against the order requirement. This is especially important when one shipment contains several backpack styles, colors or purchase-order references.
The final packing review may cover:
- Correct product and color
- Quantity per carton
- Individual packing
- Labels and barcodes
- Carton identification
- Shipping marks
- Overall carton condition
Shipment Preparation and Order Release
After packing is completed, carton quantities and shipment details are checked before the order is released.
EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP shipments can be coordinated according to the destination and agreed commercial terms. Shanghai and Ningbo-Zhoushan are practical export ports for our Jiaxing production location.
Third-party inspection can also be coordinated when required by the buyer, product or destination market.
Standard backpack constructions usually start around 300–500 pcs. After sample and specification approval, normal bulk production is around 25–40 days, depending on quantity, material readiness and construction complexity.
For accurate packing preparation, buyers should provide label files, barcode information, packing method, carton requirements, shipping marks, destination and preferred shipping terms before bulk production is completed.
